Taicang Alps International Resort, developed by Fosun Tourism, has a total investment of over 12 billion yuan. It is positioned as a one-stop high-end ice and snow-themed resort destination in the Yangtze River Delta. The first phase has already opened, and the second phase is planned to lay the foundation in 2025, featuring the world’s largest indoor ski resort (190,000 square meters) and a snow hotel, among others. The project integrates natural elements of the Alps with modern design. Metal art is widely applied, such as mirror-finish stainless steel bear sculptures, Fogsen tunnel installations (combining metal frames with graffiti), and 25,000-square-meter metal aluminum plate curtain walls (achieving the effect of “sunlight on the golden Mountain” with zero leakage). In the second phase, the suspended guest rooms, light groups and other scenes provide customized metal incremental Spaces. It is recommended to use anti-corrosion and low-temperature resistant materials (such as 316 stainless steel), combined with P-linkage and government cultural tourism subsidies, to create a solution that is both artistic and functional. This project has received over 320,000 visitors. In the future, it will rely on the differentiated strategy of “art + ice and snow” to become a global benchmark for ice and snow cultural tourism
